Teaching Methodology

The College will adopt advanced and digital teaching methodology as per the streams demand and requirement. However, the emphasis will be laid on Participatory approach.

Research

The college aims to provide a solid base for students to undertake research base for the students. They will learn about both the qualitative and quantitative techniques of research. The project work will enable students to carry out research related work in a scientific manner.

 

Community/ Volunteer Work

The College will encourage students to conduct various awareness raising and interaction programs in different disciplines in order to inform the society with on-going social, political and economic situation to create the pressure in the concerned sector of either in the government, non-governmental or private sectors. Interaction with media organizations will be encouraged. College will organize charity shows, fetes, blood donation program and public awareness program on a regular basis.. Moreover the college will contribute to the policy development of the government in the field of media education and its application and social development.

 

Research Projects and Training

Each student will be assigned with a research project in each semester. The college will name a supervisor for each semester projectís to guide the student. The supervisors will help to formulate the projects. The college will develop appropriate research and training program designed to develop students Ďskills for their future advancement.

 

Linkage with National and International institution

The College will develop link with different media houses and other contemporary colleges of the country, advertising agencies and various social organizations, Department of Communication, Journalist Federation of Nepal, Nepal Press Institute, Nepal Bar Association, Ministry of Information and Communication, National Planning Commission, various media houses etc. Besides this, the college has plans to establish collaboration with international universities and institutions. The college will manage internship facility in various media houses relating to students subject and interest.

Students who have completed Bachelorís Degree level in any faculty with at least 40 percent of aggregate marks and interested in multi-dimensional aspects of mass communication and journalism can apply for the MAMCJ program [+] Read More

Scholarships

The College will provide partial scholarships under various categories such as remote areas, the indigenous community, the underprivileged, martyrís family members and the women. Besides this partial scholarship, semester toppers get waive-off in their tuition fee in the next semester.
